Customer referral partnership with BE FORWARD
BE FORWARD Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Hironori Yamakawa; https://www.beforward.jp/)
entered a customer referral partnership with HAKKI AFRICA Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Reiji Kobayashi), which provides used-car finance in Kenya.
This partnership makes financing available not only to taxi drivers but also to other customers who previously could not access loans. Customers who pay 40% of the vehicle price including tax as a down payment (payable in KES) can have the vehicle shipped by BE FORWARD and repay over up to five years in local currency or via mobile money while using the vehicle. Interest is approximately 2.5% per month.
The service launched on April 1.
