Selected for JICA × Deloitte Tohmatsu open innovation program

HAKKI was selected as one of the companies in an open innovation program organized by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) focused on digital technology in Africa.

The project pilots low-risk finance for farmers without access to financial services, including in Tanzania’s Tanga Region, using HAKKI’s proprietary credit scoring system.

Many farmers in Tanzania lack capital for investment and remain limited to small-scale farming. If successful, the project could help unlock larger investment and enable growth into mid- to large-scale agriculture.
